Day 1 – Pragser Wildsee Lake and Val Foresta

Length: 10 km
Height difference: 400 m

After settling into the hotel, we will set off on foot for the initial trek, dedicated to the first jewel of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park: the Braies Lake, a mirror of crystal-clear water that takes on a thousand shades, from azure to blue to emerald green.

We will then enter the Val Foresta to admire the surroundings of the alpine lake and enjoy a gourmet break-meal at the Malga Foresta.

Day 2 – Stolla Valley and Plätzwiese High plateau

Length: 16 km
Height difference: 700 m

Going up Val di Stolla through the Ponticello forest, we will reach the Plätzwiese High plateau, at an altitude of 2,000 meters in the Dolomites of Braies: the plateau is a wonderful alpine meadow surrounded by famous peaks such as Picco di Vallandro, Croda Rossa d’Ampezzo, Monte Cristallo, Tofane and many others.

From the high plateau, through pastures and hairpin bends, we will rise in altitude to “conquer” the peak of Monte Specie (Strudelkopf) with its 2307 m altitude, from where we will be able to admire the spectacular Three Peaks of Lavaredo. We will continue our hike with a 360° view of the various mountain groups of the Dolomites until we will reach the Prato Piazza hut for our lunch enjoying the unique mountain panorama and natural landscape.

Day 3 – Three Peaks Nature Park and Innerfeldtal Valley

Length: 10 km
Height difference: 490 m

On the third day we will go toyje Three Peaks Nature Park to explore the magnificent and scenic Innerfeldtal Valley, famous for its natural beauty, particularly its larch meadows.

The valley is one of the main access points to the Three Peaks Nature Park, within which lie many of the most famous peaks of the Sexten Dolomitessuch as Sexten’s Croda Rossa, Crode Fiscaline, Cima dei Tre Scarperi, Croda dei Toni, Cima Undici and Three Peaks of Lavaredo.

We will reach the Tre Scarperi mountain hut, which occupies a truly superlative position, just below the Punta dei Tre Scarperi (3145m), in a clearing of incomparable beauty. Here we will stop for our lunch while enjoying some local food specialties.

Day 4 – Alpe di Sennes Hike

Length: 10 km
Height difference: 550 m

After checking out from the Hotel, we will drive to the trails closest to the Ampezzo border of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park, which includes the vast plateaus of Fanes, Sennes and Fosses.

During this last trek, we will enjoy the bucolic landscape of a typical high alpine pasture on the Alpe di Sennes, with grazing cows and Dolomite peaks as a backdrop. We will reach Sennes mountain hut, at an elevation of 2126 m, where we will have lunch, followed by a climb up the Little Col de Lasta to enjoy a beautiful panorama of the plateau.

We will then descend through the alpine village of Fodara Vedla, an enchanted place with picturesque huts, to reach the Rudo Lake, surrounded by the majestic Cima del Lavinores, 2460 m.

Here, on the border between the territory of Cortina d’Ampezzo and Alto Adige, our hiking adventure in the Dolomites will end.

Participation fee:

• € 150,00 to be paid at the time of registration
• € 340,00 thirty days before departure

The fee includes:

• Accompanying Medium Mountain Guide for the duration of the program (environmental hiking guide licensed under L.R. 42 of 23/03/2000, as amended)
• Accommodation of 3 nights in a 3* hotel in Braies in double rooms with single beds on request.
• Half board service with 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners (drinks not included).
• Parking space at the hotel
• Accident insurance

The fee does not include

• Travel costs to reach Braies and return (fuel and tolls) to be made by own car
• Tourist tax of € 2.50 per/day
• Lunches at the mountain huts
• Anything not specified under “The fee include”.

Cancellation policy

The following applies in case of cancellation:

• Cancellations made up to 61 days from the date of departure: penalty 0%.
• The cancellation of the reservation from 60 to 31 days from the date of departure: penalty of 30% of the booked services.
• The cancellation of the reservation from 30 to 15 days from the date of departure: penalty of 40% of the booked services.
• The cancellation of the reservation from 14 to 8 days from the date of departure: penalty of 70% of the booked services.
• The cancellation of the reservation within 7 days from the date of departure penalty of 100% of the booked services.
