Clay Workshop

Our hiking and clay workshop experience begins in the heart of Chianti along the historic Via Romea Sanese. We will follow panoramic trails through the Chianti countryside, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and rolling hills, with views stretching toward San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Siena. Along the way, we will discover the history and cultural heritage of this area, including an Etruscan archaeological site and a medieval village.

At the end of the hike, we will take part in a hands-on clay workshop led by a local artisan. We will learn traditional clay modeling techniques and use our hands and simple tools to create our own unique piece, from bowls and plates to cups, small sculptures and decorative objects. No previous experience is required: the workshop is designed to encourage creativity and personal expression while discovering a traditional form of Tuscan craftsmanship.
