Located between the Ötztaler Alps and the Stubai Alps, this valley is a jewel ofSouth Tyrol, perfect for those seeking adventure, relaxation and conviviality. Pack your boots and backpack: each day will be a journey of discovery through unique vistas of towering peaks, lakes the color of the sky, pastures and ancient mountain traditions.

In the afternoon, arrive in Stulles, settle into rooms and have time to settle in. At 7 p.m. we will gather for a welcome drink at the facility, followed by a convivial dinner to get this adventure off to the best possible start.

We will begin our hiking along the Alta Via della Val Passiria, one of the most beautiful scenic routes in South Tyrol. We will cross peaks and pastures where history is intertwined with nature: flint artifacts dating back to the Stone Age have been found here. We will then reach the summit of Monte Fumaiolo (2400 m) for spectacular views, before stopping at a mountain hut for lunch. In the afternoon, the return trip will take us through mountain lakes, ideal for a contemplative break. A first day of hiking, then, full of beauty and tranquility.

The second day of outings will allow us to discover the majestic Tumulo Black Lake, the largest and deepest alpine lake in South Tyrol, nestled between peaks and glaciers of the Stubai Alps. We will hike along the Alpine Main Chain to the Krumpwasser Plain, an oasis of alpine meadows where we will stop for lunch. On the way back, we will stop at the Tumulo Alp for warm refreshments before returning to Stulles.

The morning begins with a visit to the village of St. Leonhard in Passeier, birthplace of Tyrolean hero Andreas Hofer, who fought for these lands against Napoleonic troops between the 18th and 19th centuries. After a short walk through the village, we will set off on a hike along the Passer Gorge trail. The trail is spectacular and varied, and follows the stream of the same name via footbridges and steel bridges between waterfalls and rock spurs. In the afternoon, we will have free time to relax in the hotel's wellness area with sauna and whirlpool, a well-deserved reward after a day of hiking.

We will face a unique hiking, which, thanks to the help of an experienced mountain guide, will lead us to a peak far from the tourist routes. It will be a "surprise" adventure, discovering the most authentic mountain and its hidden corners, where spectacular scenery will open before our eyes. An opportunity also to "team up" and share the sensations of an unprecedented experience.

The last hike will take us to the Matatz Peak (2179 m), an iconic peak of the Passeier Valley that dominates the eastern sector of the Texel Group. On the way we will cross larch forests and alpine pastures, with views ranging from the Sarentine Alps to the Stubai glaciers. After a lunch at a hut nestled in the forest, we will descend along the Acqua Waalweg trail, an atmospheric path that follows ancient irrigation ditches used for irrigation, with the soothing sound of water as a soundtrack.

A dynamic and sporty person, he loves to travel especially to remote destinations such as Alaska, Svalbard, Namibia… “self-organizing” trips. He also loves climbing, running, walking, and all this has just led him to Nepal to undertake hiking to Everest Base Camp, with the ascent of Lobuche East, 6,119 meters. He does not despise the sea and so how could he not also love surfing? A hobby that has led him several times to places like the Canary Islands and the Azores. He is finishing writing a guidebook/travelogue about this very beautiful Portuguese archipelago with which he has fallen madly in love. But he also loves lying down and relaxing in a hammock reading a good book in the beloved woods back home.
Registration for group day hikes in the Passeiertal Valley with a certified guide and booking of overnight accommodations with half board take place through separate channels and at different times.
To participate in the group trip to the Passeier Valley, it is necessary to register through the WeHike website for day hikes. Once the minimum number of participants has been reached to confirm the event, participants will proceed to pay for the overnight stay with half-board service directly to the accommodation facility.
